This presentation will cover the R&D of the process to date, the current state of the art that is intended for production, and manufacturing readiness for production approval.

Chad Henry has both technical and business experience in the aerospace industry at applying additive manufacturing (AM) of high-performance metals with the most current technologies. This includes a combined 21 years of scientific and production settings, both domestically and internationally. In his current role at GKN Aerospace, he provides technical leadership to the U.S. based Laser Wire DED team on the development and implementation of Ti 6-4 for large aerospace components.
