Chris Williams, L.S. Randolph Professor and pioneer of additive manufacturing at Virginia Tech, joined colleague John Barnes to talk about the history of the technology on the Voices AMplified Podcast. The two discussed the challenge of bringing a new innovation like 3D printing into widespread use, the humility and resilience required to hold that course, and the motivation that brought them into the field.
