Rolf Müller, the Raymond E. and Shirley B. Lynn Professor of Mechanical Engineering, will be speaking at TEDx MidAtlantic 2025 in Washington, DC.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00AM to 6:30PM at Sidney Harman Hall. Rolf Müller will be one of 18 speakers under the theme of "Fast Forward," gathering experts from the fields of science, technology, politics, social justice, and more.

Müller's expertise in robotics with inspiration from biological elements, particularly the movement and physiology of bats, makes him a unique expert across fields. He has been a featured speaker at TEDx before, appearing on the stage at a similar event in Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2023. In September 2025, he was the keynote speaker at the Natural Science and Technology Conference held in Kuching, Sarawak, in Malaysia.
