Nuclear Science Week: Online Certificates

Nuclear Engineering at Virginia Tech has built a steadily increasing population of graduate and undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time, but this isn’t the only type of student excelling in the program. This certificate program is a great starting point for anyone interested in moving into the nuclear field from another area of engineering. Students have the ability to build a solid foundation in nuclear reactor physics (including more specific specialties within the field), nuclear fuel cycle, radiation measurements, reactor thermal dynamics, nuclear materials, or nuclear plant operations.
